Jim Mellas was admitted to practice in 1985 and has been in legal practice for over 32 years. Prior to signing the Bar Roll Jim was a Partner of McKean Park Lawyers and head of their Family Law department.

Before coming to the Bar in 2013, Jeanette Swann was a solicitor for over 18 years and was a director of a boutique city practice. After being admitted to practice in 1993, Jeanette worked in city, suburban and rural practices. She became an LIV Accredited Family Law Specialist in 2001.

Debra Harris B.Leg.S was admitted to practice in New South Wales in 1987 and signed the bar roll in that state in 2004 and in Victoria in 2013.

Family Law
Prior to coming to the Bar, Holly was a Senior Associate in the family law division of a national law firm. While practicing as a Senior Associate, Holly had carriage of complex family property matters and challenging children’s matters including child abduction and Hague Convention cases.
