Whistleblower reporting


On 7 November 2019, the Victorian Bar Council approved the Victorian Bar’s Whistleblower Policy, which sets out the Bar’s safe reporting mechanisms for whistleblowers in accordance with relevant whistleblower protection provisions.

The Bar encourages and supports the reporting of suspected or actual misconduct or unlawful activity within the Bar and the protection of whistleblowers from reprisal.

Reporting

The Victorian Bar provides two reporting mechanisms:

  1. Secure online reporting form – click here; or

  2. Directly to the CEO of the Bar at ceo@vicbar.com.au (members and employees of the Bar only).
