Community Engagement

Our members give countless hours of their time acting pro bono, nurturing and inspiring young minds, promoting Human Rights, and taking a leading role in law reform and policy review to ensure a better and fairer legal system.

The Victorian Bar supports an enormous number of community initiatives and encourages members to take an active role in the many groups and committees working at the Bar to promote social justice, to share their expertise and skills to assist the disadvantaged and to smooth the path for young people aspiring to a career in the law.
