���From 2006 to 2008, Kate worked at Caroline Counsel Family Lawyers, first as an articled clerk and then as a solicitor. Whilst at Caroline Counsel Family Lawyers, Kate practiced exclusively in all areas of Family Law.
From 2008 until her admission to the Bar, Kate was employed by Family Law Legal Service and by Women’s Legal Service Victoria. During this time, Kate worked exclusively in the practice of Family Law (including Intervention Order matters). Kate appeared daily in the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia, both as a duty lawyer and on behalf of WLSV clients. Kate conducted matters in, and appeared as duty lawyer in, the Family Violence Division of the Magistrates Court. Kate also represented clients at mediations.���
