Profile:
Michael has a broad commercial and administrative law practice.
Before coming to the bar, Michael was a Counsel in the Dispute Resolution team at Ashurst, where he worked for over 10 years.
At Ashurst, Michael specialised in complex commercial disputes. He has particular experience acting for large financial institutions responding to ASIC investigations and enforcement proceedings, Royal Commissions and class actions. He has also acted in a variety of civil and administrative proceedings for large energy and resources companies and the Victorian and Commonwealth governments.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Economics, from the University of Melbourne.
Michael is reading with Kane Loxley. His senior mentor is Michael Rush QC.
