Sophie has a broad practice in public and commercial law. She has a particular interest in regulatory, judicial review, quasi-criminal, tax and general commercial matters.
Before coming to the Bar, Sophie was Senior Associate to the Honourable Chief Justice Marilyn Warren AC of the Supreme Court of Victoria. She also worked at Gilbert + Tobin, where she practised in commercial litigation. In that capacity, she instructed in commercial trials in the Supreme Court. Sophie was also a senior lawyer at the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission.
Sophie has a Master of Laws from Columbia University, where she focussed on constitutional and administrative law, and a Juris Doctor, a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
