Admitted in 1996, Kyriaki appears in the County and Magistrates’ Court across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Now, approaching her 9th year as Counsel, she has appeared in multiple court proceedings within the Children's Court of Victoria and as a criminal law advocate on complex pleas, contested proceedings in indictable criminal matters including trials and appeals in the County Court for both the prosecution and defence.
She has prosecuted occupational health and safety and accident compensation matters in court and as a solicitor.
Expert in child protection proceedings in the family division of the Children's Court, she has run long, complex matters for the Department of Health and Human Services and appeared on behalf of children, parents and other extended family.
She is committed to providing high quality legal representation on behalf of the most vulnerable persons, for private individuals - as well as on behalf of government agencies.
Kyriaki holds training qualifications and has written and delivered criminal justice, human rights and community welfare law subjects as a sessional teacher.
