Jane Lindgren practises in commercial law and regulatory matters. Before coming to the Bar, Jane was a solicitor at Allens.

Conducted an independent review with Bernard Quinn KC and Professor Michael O'Sullivan into historical medical research and advice provided to the AFL regarding sports-related concussions and neurodegenerative diseases. The published report can be accessed here.
Fidge v Pfizer Australia Pty Ltd[2024] FCA 161: claim to obtain an injunction against Pfizer in relation to its Covid-19 vaccines and the licence requirements under the Gene Technology Act 2000 (Cth). Claim summarily dismissed. Led by Bernard Quinn KC. Instructed by DLA Piper.
ACCC v Mazda Australia Pty Ltd[2024] FCA 83: penalty phase of proceeding. Contraventions found concerned allegations of misleading or deceptive conduct. Led by Martin Scott KC. Instructed by Mills Oakley.
Telstra Corporation Ltd v ProLearn Corporation Pty Ltd and Kytec Pty Ltd [2024] VSCA 23: appeal from trial judgment regarding alleged misleading or deceptive conduct including whether Telstra had reasonable grounds for the alleged misrepresentations. Online Investments Pty Ltd & Ors v CEG Direct Securities Pty Ltd & Ors[2023] VSC 641: resisted summary judgment application on behalf of mortgagee in relation to actions taken by mortgagee when exercising its powers of sale following a loan default. Unled. Instructed by Ronayne Owens Lawyers.
Mega v WW Property Development Pty Ltd and Jiang, Supreme Court: claim for contribution in relation to an alleged co-guaranteed debt. Counterclaim includes claims for monies had and received, and breaches of restraints of trade. Led by Daniel Aghion KC. Instructed by Hall & Wilcox. Proceeding has involved various interlocutory applications including freezing order, joinder, discovery, summary judgment, strike out and subpoena objection applications (both led and unled). Lun and ors v Barry Road Project Pty Ltd as trustee for Barry Road Project Unit Trust and ors, Supreme Court: dispute about the management of a unit trust in relation to a property development and the financing obtained by the trustee for the trust. Matter has included unled appearance work in relation to an application for the trustee to be reimbursed for its legal costs from funds paid into court.

Acted for the Transurban parties in the West Gate Tunnel Project dispute, including Transurban WGT Co Pty Ltd v CPB Contractors Pty Limited [2020] VSC 476, an injunction application in relation to an arbitration concerning the project.
