Profile:
Prior to coming to the Bar, Fiona was associate to His Honour Judge Dyer at the County Court of Victoria. His Honour sat in the Common Law Division of the Court, and heard matters in the Serious Injury Applications List, WorkCover List, Defamation List and General List. As an associate, Fiona was involved in common law damages trials, serious injury applications, judicial mediations and a range of interlocutory disputes.
Fiona has a special interest in common law with a particular focus on personal injury matters. She has appeared in the Magistrates Court, the County and Supreme Courts and in VCAT.
In addition to her practice, Fiona is a Teaching Associate at Monash University (Faculty of Law) in the area of Torts Law.
She read with Robert Harper. Her senior mentor was Roisin Annesley.
