Ed has a broad commercial practice, including financial services, professional negligence, fraud, corporations, insolvency, arbitration and regulatory matters. He also acts in media / defamation matters and disciplinary proceedings.
Ed is recognised in Doyle's Guide as a leading commercial litigation and dispute resolution barrister.

Before coming to the Bar, Ed practised as a solicitor in the dispute resolution group at international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in London. At Freshfields, Ed worked primarily on disputes in the financial services sector (insolvency, regulatory, corporate crime and money laundering). Ed commenced his career with Ashurst in Melbourne in 2009.
Ed graduated with first class honours in law from Melbourne University and completed the BCL (Distinction) at the University of Oxford in 2011 as a recipient of an Allan Myers Melbourne University Scholarship.
