Matthew Minucci’s practice covers all aspects of employment, industrial, and occupational health and safety law. It also includes public law and criminal law.

Matthew was recognised in the Doyle's Guide - Leading Workplace Health & Safety Junior Counsel - Victoria in 2019, and in the Doyle's Guide - Leading Employment & WHS Junior Counsel - Victoria in 2019. He was also recognised in the Emerging Employment & WHS Junior Counsel - Victoria in 2017.
Matthew is a Victoria Legal Aid Criminal Trial Preferred Barrister, and an accredited specialist criminal law advocate under the Victorian Bar's Indictable Crime Certificate program. Matthew appears for both the prosecution and defence in a variety of criminal matters in the County Court and Magistrates Court, including jury trials, appeals and pleas. Matthew has also represented individuals in inquisitorial and coercive proceedings.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Matthew was a Senior Solicitor with the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office in the Workplace Relations and Occupational Safety Team.
Before joining the VGSO, Matthew was a Judge's Associate in the District Court of South Australia.
