Sarala appears and advises in administrative, regulatory, employment and human rights matters.
She holds a Masters degree in Public and International Law from the University of Melbourne.
Sarala began her legal career at Phillips Fox (now DLA Piper). She spent six years at ASIC as a senior lawyer and then manager, working in enforcement, regulation and corporate finance.
Before coming to the Bar Sarala spent five years conducting litigation under the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities and the Equal Opportunity Act at the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission. She was previously a Human Rights Advisor to the Victorian Scrutiny of Acts and Regulations Committee for 3 years, whilst at the Bar.
She is one of the Counsel Assisting the Yoorrook Justice Commission.
