Kylie acts both for and against govenment clients in a wide range of area including inquiries, discrimination, privacy, Freedom of Information, licencing and local government. She regularly appears as Counsel Assisting the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commissioner (IBAC).
She is also a Senior Fellow of the Melbourne Law School and specialist in human rights law. Kylie is widely published on the Victorian Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities and is a member of the Queensland Parliament Human Rights expert advisory panel.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Kylie was an Associate to his Honour Judge David Hunt AO, QC at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and Reseach Fellow to the late Honourable James Crawford AC, SC, FBA from 2002-2005. She holds first class honours degrees in Law from the University of Melbourne and the University of Cambridge (Masters of Law) and a first class Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne.
