Liam Magowan is an experienced barrister and mediator with over 17 years of experience at the Bar.
Liam is a nationally accredited mediator. He effectively guides parties to reach mutually agreeable solutions using his extensive legal expertise in diverse areas of law, including administrative, appeals, building and construction law, contract, corporations, equity and trusts, foreign law (enforcement of foreign judgments and conflict of laws), franchising, complex owners corporation matters, and property.
In addition to his mediation practice, Liam is an accomplished trial advocate, frequently appearing at the appellate level, including in the Court of Appeal and High Court of Australia. He also regularly appears before specialist tribunals, boards (such as the Building Appeals Board) and at inquests.

Prior to joining the Bar, Liam was a solicitor in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Blake Dawson (now Ashurst).
