Profile
Prior to coming to the Bar in 2003 Justin spent 8 years with Richmond & Bennison. His practice was broad but largely focused on commercial and personal injury litigation. He also gained experience in areas such as trusts, leases, employment, criminal law, building disputes, defamation, administrative law and general (non personal injury) common law.
After coming to the Bar, Justin initially appeared in a diverse range of matters which included building disputes, criminal matters, personal injury litigation and substantial commercial litigation. He appeared in courts from the Magistrates' Court to the Supreme and Federal Courts and in the VCAT.
Over time Justin took on an increasing amount of prosecution work for the Office of Public Prosecutions. In 2014 he was appointed as a Crown Prosecutor. Since that time he has worked exclusively as a prosecutor and has appeared in County and Supreme Court trials and pleas in addition to preparing written cases for, and appearing in, Court of Appeal matters.
