Kerry is a barrister and mediator practising from Murray Chambers in Adelaide, and is an Associate member of Murray Chambers in Perth and Darwin. She accepts briefs in all areas except Criminal and Childrens matters in Family Law, but has a focus on commercial matters, including contract, professional negligence, construction, trusts and regulatory disputes, estates and complex Family Law property matters. Prior to joining the independent Bar, Kerry was an Associate for three years at Johnson Winter & Slattery practising in commercial litigation, workplace relations, media and defamation law and energy & resources. She also spent a year as the Associate to Justice Bleby in the Supreme Court of South Australia.

Kerry was a member of the Bar Council in SA for a number of years, the President of the Women Lawyers Association of SA and in 2009 - 2010 was Vice President of Australian Women Lawyers. She also sits on the board of Lawguard, the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal, was previoulsy a member of the Board of Examiners and chair of South Australia's pro bono referral centre, JusticeNet SA.
