Profile:
Prior to coming to the Bar in 1990,where she read with Tony Lewis, Deborah worked at V.L.A (formerly The Legal Aid Commission ) as Duty Lawyer and In-house counsel. Since coming to the Bar she has worked almost exclusively in the area of Criminal law, both as defender and prosecutor, and Victims of Crime including Appeals from VOCAT to VCAT. From 1999-2012 she obtained leave from the Bar studying and living for many years in the U.S. where she created programs to assist with the rehabilitation of prisoners in Arizona prisons. Upon returning recently to the Bar she continues to work as a criminal lawyer with a special interest in Prosecution and Victims of Crime.
