Profile:
Justin O'Bryan has a wide and varied practice with concentration on the areas of public law, equity and commercial litigation. He also has considerable expertise in the law relating to wills and estates, professional disciplinary matters, inquests and Royal Commissions.
Prior to coming to the Bar Justin was a Senior Legal Officer in the General Counsel Division of the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department in Canberra. Justin worked in the Constitutional and Financial Branch, providing advice predominantly in the areas of administrative law, statutory interpretation, constitutional law and revenue law. Justin also worked for the National Companies and Securities Commission, providing legal advice on matters concerning the interpretation of statutory powers in the Company Code.
