Nico has a generalist practice with special focus on common law matters. In addition to common law Nico practices in commercial law and public and administrative law. He is readily available for appearance, drafting and advice work.
Before embarking on his career at the Bar, Nico served as an Associate to His Honour Judge Ginnane at the County Court of Victoria for over three years. During this tenure, Nico accumulated valuable experience by providing extensive support to Judge Ginnane in the conduct and oversight of civil trials, encompassing both jury trials and judge-alone proceedings, as well as handling serious injury applications and various interlocutory matters. Furthermore, Nico played a crucial role in the administration of the Self Represented List when His Honour was the head of the List.
In addition, Nico is a PhD Candidate at Monash University and is the Chief Examiner at Monash for Principles of Litigation and Dispute Resolution. He has also taught Australian Legal Reasoning and Methods.
