Jack practises in criminal and quasi-criminal law, including intervention orders. He appears in all Victorian Courts and tribunals.
He appears for both defence and prosecution in bail applications, contests, committals, pleas and appeals in the Magistrates’ and County Courts. He is experienced in sexual, family violence, drug, traffic, and property-related offending.
In addition to his criminal practice, Jack appears in proceedings brought by local councils, government agencies and regulators. He also accepts briefs for all stages of intervention order proceedings including appeals to the County Court. He has a special interest in sports law and is a member of the National Sports Tribunal Legal Assistance Panel.
Before joining the Bar, Jack was a Judges’ Associate in the criminal division of the County Court of Victoria; firstly, to His Honour Judge C Ryan and then Justin Hannebery KC.
Jack is studying a Masters of Law from Monash University with a focus in evidence, criminal, and regulatory law. He is a member of the Criminal Bar Association and the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association.
