Hugh Crosthwaite practises employment, industrial relations and public law.
Since joining the Bar, Hugh has appeared led and unled in Federal Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of Victoria and other courts in employment / industrial, public and commercial law matters. Hugh also runs matters in the Fair Work Commission, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Victorian Disciplinary Appeals Board.
Before coming to the Bar, Hugh was an Associate at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. At Maurice Blackburn Hugh ran complex employment, industrial, discrimination and public law matters, including matters in the High Court of Australia and of national significance. Prior to working at Maurice Blackburn, Hugh was a solicitor at AGS.
In 2013 Hugh was the Associate to Justice Murphy of the Federal Court of Australia.
