Working well with your solicitors and instructors: All the things you’ve been wanting and waiting to ask

15Aug2018

The session is open to all new barristers of 0-6 year's standing.   Please RSVP to rsvp@vicbar.com.au.
The New Barristers’ Committee is pleased to invite you to a seminar on working effectively with your instructing solicitors and other retainers in direct access matters.  In the seminar, barristers Randall Kune, Meg O’Sullivan and Jeanette Swann will each discuss tips and tricks, common mistakes and misunderstandings and answer questions from the audience.   Randall, Meg and Jeanette have a depth of experience working with instructors across the criminal, child protection, public, commercial, family and common law jurisdictions.
To encourage open discussion, this CPD will not be recorded and will be held under the Chatham House Rule. Attendees are encouraged to submit any questions they may have for the presenters by Thursday, 9 August 2018, which will then be asked anonymously by the Chair during the session.

Questions can be submitted by emailing them to Fleur Shand at fleur.shand@vicbar.com.au or by leaving them anonymously with List G and marked for Fleur’s attention.
