The Governor in Council, on Tuesday 31 July 2018, appointed Nahrain Warda a Magistrate. Her Honour was sworn-in privately by Chief Justice Ferguson on Monday 6 August 2018.

The Governor in Council, on Tuesday 14 August 2018, appointed Jacinta Studham a Magistrate. Her Honour was sworn-in privately by Chief Justice Ferguson on Monday 20 August 2018.

The Profession will extend a Welcome to Their Honours at a ceremonial sitting in Court 1 of the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court, Ground Floor, 233 William Street Melbourne on:

All counsel who are able to do so are asked to attend. Counsel are not required to robe in the Magistrates’ Court.
