Prescribed Sexual Harassment Awareness Training

The Victorian Bar is conducting prescribed sexual harassment awareness training for barristers over 10 years’ call.  This training is a prerequisite for barristers intending to make application for Senior Counsel in 2023, as prescribed by the Supreme Court of Victoria.

The structure of this prescribed training will be as follows:

• presentation by the Victorian Bar President
• presentation by a panel of Senior Counsel
• hypothetical examples
• open session for general discussion

Compulsory pre-reading materials will be provided to attendees.

Training is offered on the following dates:

Saturday, 25 March 2023
1:00 – 3:00pm

Monday, 27 March 2023 
4:30 – 6:30pm

Saturday, 1 April 2023
1:00 – 3:00pm

Places for each session are strictly limited to 40 attendees and registrations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. We encourage completing your registration for a session as soon as possible.
