Managing High Conflict Personalities in and out of Court - 1-day Workshop

21Sep2018

High-conflict personalities appear to be increasing throughout modern society and especially in legal disputes.  This one-day workshop will provide a background on five personality disorders which are becoming more common in high-conflict cases, including some related brain research. Four key skills will be covered for managing anyone with a possible highconflict personality, including clients, opposing parties and opposing counsel. Methods for managing such cases in court, and methods for managing such parties in negotiation and mediation will also be addressed.
The workshop will include video clips, practical exercises and an opportunity to discuss questions and difficult cases.

Presented by Bill Eddy, a lawyer for over 25 years, a therapist and a mediator. He is the Co-founder and Training Director of the High Conflict Institute, based in San Diego, California.
