Intersectionality and how to be an ally

In this session, our speakers will discuss the implications of recent research which shows that people of colour, people who have a disability or mental illness, people from disadvantaged backgrounds, trans people, and LGBTIQ+ people experience more frequent or more severe discrimination in the legal sector.

We will also provide practical tips on how you can help to prevent discrimination against, and provide support to, your colleagues, and the resources that are available through the Victorian Bar and answer your questions about intersectionality at the Victorian Bar.
