Forensic pathologists sit at the junction between medicine and the law. Whilst they are highly trained medical specialists, the “CSI Effect” has created expectations that are not founded in the reality of practise. This talk aims to educate on how to demystify and critically evaluate the autopsy process and forensic pathology evidence to assist the legal process for both Defence and Prosecution barristers.
