Family Law Amendment Act Changes

Significant provisions of the Family Law Amendment Act will commence on 6 May 2024 and will apply to all parenting matters, unless a final hearing has already commenced. The seminar will involve:

• a discussion of the upcoming changes
• how counsel might make submissions in line with the legislative amendments, and also
• how counsel might deal with cases that commenced prior to the changes.
