Common Law Pro Bono Work in the County Court- An Opportunity to Assist

In this seminar the speakers will address the opportunities available to Common Law Bar members to accept pro bono referrals from the County Court to appear on behalf of self-represented litigants. 

Discussions will include the supports available to counsel taking on pro bono work, including from the County Court self-represented litigant team and from senior counsel, the experience of taking on a pro bono brief, and the range of benefits to counsel in assisting the Court in representing unrepresented litigants, including the opportunity for appearance work.
