Court Craft:  All the stuff you didn't know you didn't know, or were too afraid to ask.

15Feb2018

His Honour Magistrate Tim Bourke, and barristers Anthony Strahan and Ben Ihle will each discuss common mistakes and misunderstandings by advocates in court, exchange war stories and answer questions from the audience. Whilst the session is designed for junior barristers, it is open to all who wish to refresh gaps in their knowledge of the subject matter in judgment-free environment, or hear a frank and open discussion about the honest but avoidable mistakes we can all make as counsel.
To encourage discussion and avoid embarrassment, this CPD will not be recorded and will be held under the Chatham House Rule. Attendees are invited to submit any questions they may have for the presenters ahead of time, which will then be asked anonymously by the Chair during the session. Questions can be submitted by emailing them to Elle Nikou Madalin at enikoumadalin@vicbar.com.au or by leaving them anonymously with Dever’s List and marked for Elle’s attention.

Attendees are welcome to bring their lunch to this CPD..
