Drug and Alcohol Treatment Court Pilot: Learnings and Reflections

The County Court of Victoria Drug and Alcohol Treatment Court (DATC)  pilot commenced on 21 April 2021, representing the first time a drug court has operated in a higher jurisdiction in Victoria. The Criminal Bar Association is pleased to host DATC judicial officers, lawyers and members of the treatment team to share learnings and reflections from the pilot, and assist members to better understand this unique sentencing option. This session is also open to criminal law solicitors.
