Jim has over 25 years extensive experience in the Building and Construction industry predominately in Electrical and Mechanical services having worked on many major building projects, he is well equipped to advise in building related disputes and other Commercial law matters. Jim has established a wide and varied general practice ranging from appearing at the VCAT, Magistrates Court, County Court, Family Court and the Supreme Court of Appeal. During this time he often appeared in jurisdictions outside Victoria. He has appeared in Criminal Jury trials and committal proceedings for a wide range of matters including charges of murder, rape, cuplable driving, burglary and many summary and other indictable matters including drug offences, drink driving and assaults. Jim also regularily appears in contested Family Law matters at the Federal Circuit Court and the Family Court of Australia.
Jim is a Nationally accredited mediator and the holder of the Indictable Crime Certtificate and VLA preferred trial counsel.
