Annette appears in all jurisdictions, including the Supreme Court, Family Court, Federal Court, Federal Circuit Court and Magistrates’ Court. She brings her strong analytical skills and extensive experience of writing, editing and training to her work as a barrister.
An excellent communicator, orally and in writing, Annette is able to explain sophisticated ideas in accessible language. She has been briefed to appear and advise on diverse matters, including family law matters, building and construction, trusts, trade practices and insolvency.
Immediately before coming to the Bar, Annette ran her own consultancy, training lawyers, particularly in non-English speaking countries, to improve their written communications. She had previously worked at Allen & Overy in Brussels where she founded an English language legal communication team.
Annette has written for CPDinteractive.com.au and the Australian Intellectual Property Law Bulletin on tax matters.
Annette has a BA, LLB and Master of Tax from the University of Melbourne and completed her articles with Arnold Bloch Leibler.
Annette is accepting briefs in all family law matters, commercial matters, and tax and administrative matters.
Annette lived in Europe for 15 years. She speaks French and Hebrew fluently.
