Julia practices in commercial and public law.
Prior to coming to the Victorian Bar, Julia was an associate to the Honourable Justice Elliott at the Supreme Court of Victoria. She was also a solicitor in the commercial litigation team at King & Wood Mallesons.
Julia holds a Juris Doctor with first class honours from the University of Melbourne. She was awarded the Supreme Court Prize for achieving the highest overall mark, as well as several subject and other prizes. She also holds a Bachelor of Business with first class honours from the University of New South Wales.
Previously, Julia served as an Intelligence Officer in the Australian Regular Army, completing two operational deployments to Afghanistan. Julia continues to serve as a member of the Army Reserve and holds an Australian Government Negative Vetting (NV1) security clearance.
