Andrew practises in administrative law, commercial law, and employment and industrial law. He is experienced running trials alone in the Federal Circuit Court, Fair Work Commission, AAT and VCAT and judicial review proceedings in the Federal Circuit Court and Federal Court of Australia. He has appeared unled in appeals before the Full Federal Court and the FWC Full Bench.

Administrative law
Andrew has acted for asylum-seeker and refugee clients in all courts and tribunals in the federal hierarchy in relation to merits and judicial review of migration and related administrative decisions. He regularly acts in highly sensitive and urgent matters.
Andrew also regularly appears in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal in administrative law and human rights matters, including freedom of information, discrimination disputes and disciplinary proceedings.
Industrial/employment law
Andrew has acted for trade unions, individual employees and employers in a broad range of employment and industrial law matters, including underpayment claims, general protections ("adverse action") claims, unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.
Commercial law
In commercial matters, Andrew has experience in debt and insolvency disputes, corporate structures and securities matters, and contractual disputes.
