Profile:
Andrew Burnett has over 10 years’ experience in civil and commercial litigation. Andrew’s legal expertise includes advice and appearances in matters concerning corporations, arbitration, taxation, building and construction, wills and probate, industrial relations and property law.
Prior to joining the Bar, Andrew was a Senior Associate at Clayton Utz, where he specialised in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Over the course of 8 years as a solicitor, Andrew conducted a wide range of litigation matters in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia involving contractual disputes, competition and consumer law and white collar crime.
Andrew read with Peter Wallis QC, and his senior mentor was Anthony Kelly QC until his Honour was appointed as a Judge of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia.
