Prior to coming to the Bar, Megan was associate to Her Honour Judge Davis at the County Court of Victoria. During Megan’s associateship, Her Honour sat as Judge in Charge of the Damages and Compensation List, as well as at VCAT and in the criminal jurisdiction.
Since coming to the Bar, Megan has appeared (both alone and led) in a wide variety of personal injury matters, including statutory benefits hearings, serious injury applications, judge-alone trials, jury trials and appeals. She accepts briefs for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (major in Japanese) from the University of Melbourne. She has also completed a Masters of Law (Legal Practice) at the Australian National University. She has sat on the Victorian Bar's Pro-Bono Commitee and Sustainability Committee, as well as on the committees for the Compensation Law Bar Association and the Women Barristers' Association. Currently, she is Secretary of the Compensation Law Bar Association.
