Legal Practice
Jessica favours a diverse practice and is well positioned to take on the following matters:
1. Intervention orders (civil application and criminal defence);
2. Criminal defence in any matter (except murder, drug offences);
3. Affidavit drafting in Family Law and Injury matters;
4. Defence against local council prosecutions, in particular, in areas of food code and rooming house offences ;
5. Injury related matters (WorkCover, TAC, etc) for both plaintiff and defendant;
6. General commercial matters in contract, consumer and property law.
Jessica's Credentials and Background:
- Among the list of WorkCover Preferred Counsel.
- Juris Doctor law Degree from the University of Melbourne in 2008, in addition to both Western Medicine (from overseas) and Chinese Medicine (from RMIT in 1998) qualifications.
- Prior to embarking on legal career she had practised both Western Medicine (overseas) and Chinese Medicine (Australia) for 15 years in total; and had worked in a Property Investment Firm and as a Migration Agent in Australia for a few years.
