Catherine has worked as a Senior Associate in the commercial litigation and insolvency departments at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) and Gadens Lawyers.
She has broad experience acting for corporate and institutional clients in a variety of litigious matters dealing with contractual disputes, corporations law matters, corporate insolvency, bankruptcy, directors’ disputes, trade practices, banking litigation, and professional negligence. Catherine regularly appears in trials in the County, Supreme and Federal Courts and at the AAT.
Catherine is recognised as one of Australia’s leading junior barristers in insolvency law and litigation. She has been ranked in Best Lawyers Australia since 2015 in Insolvency & Reorganisation Law. Catherine is currently ranked in Doyle’s Guide as a leading junior for Insolvency and Reconstruction Law and Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She has been recognised in Doyle's Guide since 2012.
Catherine is also an accredited advanced mediator and is recognised as a leading Victorian mediator in Doyle's Guide.
In addition to holding a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne, Catherine also holds a Master of Science & Technology, specialising in Aviation, from the University of New South Wales.
