With more than 20 years’ experience as an advocate, John has a special interest in advising and appearing in product liability insurance related matters (personal injuries and torts other than personal injuries). John has worked for leading Australian national law firms, US Attorneys and English law firms in tobacco, pharmaceutical and medical device among other product liability litigation. Recent work includes advising an American casualty underwriter in relation to an international product liability claim by an Australian importer against a foreign manufacturer. John has appeared at trial for parties in recovery actions for indemnity sought pursuant to s.138 of the Accident Compensation Act 1985 (Vic) and also in serious injury applications made pursuant to s.134AB of that Act.
