Appointments - The Hon Deputy Chief Justice William Alstergren and The Hon Justice Robert McClelland

Family Court of Australia

The Governor-General in Council on 27 September 2018 appointed the Honourable Deputy Chief Justice Edvard William Alstergren Chief Justice of the Family Court of Australia, a concurrent Commission with His Honour’s ongoing Commission as Chief Judge of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia; and appointed the Honourable Robert Bruce McClelland Deputy Chief Justice of the Family Court of Australia – each effective 10 December 2018.

Their Honours will be sworn-in and the Profession will extend a Welcome in Court 8A on Level 8 of the Owen Dixon Commonwealth Law Courts Building, 305 William Street, Melbourne on:

Monday 10 December 2018 at 2:15 pm

All counsel who are able to do so are asked to attend, robed (without wigs).
