“In Conversation” Webinar: Coronavirus and VCAT

In the fifth of the Victorian Bar’s “In Conversation” webinar series, Barrister and Bar Council member Emily Porter and the Honourable Justice Michelle Quigley QC, President of VCAT, discuss how the Tribunal has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, including how cases are triaged to ensure the proper administration of justice. Thanks to Nicholas Andreou, Barrister, for moderating questions.

Justice Quigley noted that the Tribunal’s response to COVID-19 included making changes that introduced much-needed efficiencies into the Tribunal’s processes. Justice Quigley also explored the future direction of hearings in the Tribunal.
