Members’ schemes of arrangement: Developments in 2019/2020

Members’ schemes of arrangement are used to effect company takeovers, mergers, demergers and corporate reconstructions. 

In this seminar, Greg Ahern will give a brief overview of what a members’ scheme of arrangement is and will then discuss some developments in 2019 and 2020 in this area of the law (including some COVID-19 related matters). Whilst the focus of this seminar is on members’ schemes, Greg will touch briefly on some developments in the United Kingdom in the area of creditors’ schemes of arrangement.
