Concussion in Sport

20May2021

In recent years, concussion has presented many legal issues for a wide range of sports in Australia and abroad - including around foreseeability, causation, and potential class action litigation. The Victorian Coroner has recently called for more brain research into the effects of blows to the head in sport following the death of former St Kilda footy player Danny Frawley.

In this Q & A style seminar, three highly regarded practitioners will offer their views from their side of the field. It is designed towards an open discussion on potential legal issues faced by practitioners in this important and evolving area of science and sport.
