Reframing Coercive Control: Introducing Narcissistic Control

Join us for an expert panel discussion about narcissistic patterns of behaviour and coercive control, which can often be missed or misrecognised in practice.
As family lawyers and mediators, we need to understand what coercive control is and how it can impact on our clients. Join us for an expert panel discussion about narcissistic patterns of behaviour and coercive control, which can often be missed or misrecognised in practice.

This presentation advances a reframing of coercive control, by defining different psychological motivations underpinning narcissistic patterns and coercive control, which are related but distinct behaviours. The panel will also discuss victim responses to relational harm, and how these can obscure the source of harm.

(This is an in-person event and will also be available online via livestream. The session will not be recorded)
