Victoria Legal Aid supports a National Disability Insurance Scheme

Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) has signed on as a supporter of a National Disability Insurance Scheme, which would make it easier for people with a disability to access essential care and support services.
Managing Director Bevan Warner said that as an organisation with a history of standing up for people who are disadvantaged, VLA saw great value in the initiative.

In the grand surrounds of the Banco Court, watch barristers, solicitors and the judiciary play out the drama of this fictional drug possession case. The defendant, Evelyn Cannon, has been charged with possession of cocaine. Will she be found guilty or innocent?
