Matthew was admitted to practice in 1989 and signed the Bar Roll in 2002. Prior to signing the Bar Roll, Matthew practised in commercial litigation and employment law. Matthew has experience in all types of commercial disputes, including misleading and deceptive conduct claims, disputes between directors/shareholders, franchise disputes, lease disputes, insolvency and general contractual claims. Matthew also deals with employment law matters including wrongful termination of employment, AIRC proceedings for unfair dismissals, employee/independent contractor issues, restraints of trade, confidential information, redundancy entitlements, sexual harassment, and discrimination. Matthew has a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne.
