John Ames has been appointed an authorised representative of the Trustee under its Australian Financial Services Licence. John is authorised to provide general financial product advice to members of the Fund. John is not authorised to provide personal financial product advice – that is advice that takes into account members’ particular objectives, financial situation or needs. For advice of that type members should consult a licensed financial planner.

John Ames joined the Fund as Secretary upon the retirement of Ed Fieldhouse at the end of June 2001.

John has an extensive career in the superannuation industry. John's previous roles include Employee Benefit Manager with Guardian Assurance plc and Fund Secretary of the Colonial Staff and Public Offer superannuation funds.

John is available to answer any queries about the Fund.
