| Accessing e-mail
while out of your office is very simple yet still secure.
To access your e-mail you will need any computer that is connected
to the Internet and then follow these steps:
1. Load the Internet browsing program
(Internet Explorer or Firefox are
the common ones). In the address line enter "mailserver.vicbar.com.au".
Note that you DO NOT need the "www" in front. Alternately you can access this page from the Members section on the left hand column of the Vicbar website.

2. Now simply enter the first
part of your Vicbar email address (the
part before the @ symbol) and password in the blank
fields. Followed by pressing the "Login" button.
Note: Selecting "SSL Mode" will redirect you to a high-grade encrypted version of the site. You can use this method for added security.
3. The layout of the main screen may vary slightly between browsers. Standard browsers will have an Outlook 2003 layout. Browsers like Safari will have a text based layout. Click the 2 images below for an example of both.

4. Make sure that you press "logout" when you have finished. This will stop people accessing your e-mail after you have left.
