Robin Robinson has a general practice at the Victorian Bar, focusing on Native Title, Family Law and Criminal Law. She has an interest in Children’s Court matters and Administrative Law. Robin’s experience includes appearing in intervention order applications.
Robin completed her training in Family Dispute Resolution at Relationships Australia, Victoria, and she has a clearance to work with children. Robin is also experienced in mediation generally, particularly involving Aboriginal peoples, land issues and governance.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Robin has appeared as an advocate in Federal and State jurisdictions, most particularly in Native Title matters. She has a strong track record in preparation for, and appearance in, lengthy litigation at both the trial and appellate levels.
Robin is currently completing a PhD in Law in the area of native title and Indigenous rights. She is a recipient of the 2012 Human Rights Scholarship from Melbourne University.
